Good idea, but what happens in the winter for those of us who live in more frigid climates? How do you dunk the panel into a block of ice?

well… if you live in a cooler climate you dont really have to dunk it do you? the cold weather will keep it colder

Typically if you are in a colder climate your solar panel will not be as efficient because your farther away from the equator.
