A palapa is is a thatched-roof, open-sided structure. The material to cover the roof of a palapa typically consists of dried and woven palm-tree leaves. A palapa is sometimes referred to as a grass or tiki hut.

The GoGreenSolar Palapa is built to last, with a wonderfully tropic look and feel. This eight panel solar palapa produces 1,480 watts per hour while it giving your hotel or backyard the festive look you love. A single pole structure is hidden beneath a palapa facade and is supported by a tough infrastructure. The pole is covered by bamboo poles and the top of the structure is securely fastened to the steel pole, which is comprised of a bamboo matting and bamboo in-lays. The top outer area is covered in a thatch skirt that surrounds the 11’3” x 10’8”structure. The structure is ten feet tall with an 8’6” clearance from the ground to the underneath palapa.
